Want your hot-hatch even hotter? Ford tuning specialist Wolf Racing will turn up the heat to 370 horsepower.
German Ford tuning specialist Wolf Racing
has revealed an aftermarket program for the Ford Focus ST that offers a
number of performance kits as well as some new styling elements. The
Stage I kit includes a new air filter and remapped ECU and the result is
a boost in the ST’s 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine to 285 horsepower and 326
pound-feet of torque, up from 252 hp and 270 lb-ft, resulting in a new
0-62 mph time of 6.5 seconds. The Stage II upgrade builds on the basic
kit by adding a turbocharger, taking output to 300 hp and 333 lb-ft of
torque.
Last, but not least, the Stage III goes to the extreme with the
addition of a new sports exhaust system that ups output to 370 hp and
409 lb-ft of torque. To reign in all the added power, a new performance
brake system was fitted, while a coilover suspension drops the Focus ST
by 50 mm in the front and 40 mm in the rear. Styling enhancements
include headlight covers, roof lip spoiler, and new side and rear skirt
attachments. The Stage III kit plus all the additional goodies comes in
at just under $11,000.
