Corvette Evolution at the Petersen
The Corvette
has come a long way throughout its long history in terms of both
styling traits and power outputs. Then again, as the saying goes: the
more things change, the more they stay the same. In the Corvette’s case, its overall design
has certainly evolved over the years but its adherence to a
front-mounted V8 engine (with the exception of the C1′s inline-six) and
rear-wheel-drive setup remain, as does its plastic fantastic bodywork
material of choice.
